Over 60 Years Of Combined Experience To Handle Your Family Law Matter

Since the United States Supreme Court’s historic landmark decision in U.S. v. Windsor, wherein the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act was determined to be unconstitutional and Pennsylvania’s subsequent acknowledgement of marriage equality for opposite and same-sex couples legal issues involving the LGBT community have come to the forefront.

Since its inception over 10 years ago, Gardner Law Office has had a long-term commitment to serving the community in all family law related matters regardless of sexual orientation. In 2015, Attorney Mark B. Stanziola, a LGBT Community Member and lifelong equality advocate and activist, joined Gardner Law Office to head its newly formed LGBT law section.

Mark brings with him over 31 years of legal expertise with an emphasis on family law and LGBT community related issues. He was a Member and Officer of Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, prior to its merger with Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Center, a Member of the LGBT Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce, and is a continuing contributor to the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center and was instrumental in the establishment of its bi-monthly legal clinic.  Mark is also on the Pennsylvania Bar Association LGBT Rules Committee, that advises Pennsylvania Legislature on LGBT related legal issues.

Estate Planning And Probate Administration

Our attorneys also help individuals create estate plans such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives to ensure their wishes are carried out in the event of incapacitation or death.

We also handle guardianships and conservatorships as well as probate administration matters.

Collaborative Law And Mediation

In lieu of litigation, many of our client’s family law matters are resolved via alternative dispute resolution methods like collaboration and mediation. In both instances, the couples negotiate issues outside of the courtroom in a less informal environment. Such ADR methods are also typically less expensive than litigation.
